Panic Attacks Anxiety – Things You Need To Know
What is panic attacks anxiety?
It is believed that an individual’s bodily alarm, set by the physical and mental mechanisms prompting the person to respond to threats tend to go off needlessly despite there being no grave danger. It is still a mystery to researchers that why exactly does this occur and why the sufferers of panic attack are more prone to this problem as opposed to the rest.
As panic disorders run in families it is believed to be hereditary, meaning inheritance playing a vital role in deciding who gets it. Then again, there are a few people with this condition who don’t have any family history of panic attacks anxiety.
Now comes the major question with regards to the seriousness of panic attacks.
The answer would be a BIG yes! Panic attacks anxiety can be emotionally disabling, but the good news being they can be controlled with treatment. The sad part of the whole issue is that since panic anxiety attacks symptoms are accompanied by a range of physical symptoms it is unfortunately misinterpreted as heart attacks or other life-threatening conditions.
It is proved that majority of people, who end up in the emergency rooms from chest pain are diagnosed as having mere panic attacks and nothing more to it. That being said, there are few others who are victims of wrong diagnosis and end up paying hefty bills in an attempt to find out what exactly are they suffering from unaware of the fact that it is plain simple panic attack that they suffer from.
Generally the doctors make an effort in assuring the panic attacks anxiety sufferer that there is nothing gravely wrong with them or anything to be worried about. Then again, these assurances could at sometimes add to their problems because statements such as “there is nothing to worry about” or “it is all the way you look at it” etc can end up giving a wrong impression that there is no problem as such, with no treatments being necessary and they got to deal with the symptoms on their own.
The bottom line being, as much panic attacks anxiety disorder is not life threatening nor do they pose any problems to organs, they definitely need to be addressed to before they get real serious hindering an individual’s lifestyle.
